i love it... are you using the rapid mask andrew?

i have been playing with it lately and i love its detail ability but laying it out on the odd surface has been very tough.

i also got some of the 2mil high detail and have yet to try it but i know its only for super clean surface applications.

blasting is so fun.

yeah so i have the rapid mask and the R3 (it's blue, washes out, positive artwork, and is self adhesive -- i like it the best so far)

what i've found is that once you remove the film for the sticky side of the green, press in the center of your artwork and rub in a line vertically along the cylinder so it's all set up

then press and rub from the center to the side of the artwork making sure that you've got it stuck on nice and good. then a remove the carrier sheet and press in the film to the glass... this way you can work around any curves that are there.

andrew it is the backer sheet that is giving me issues. it is so stiff that it doesnt want to conform to the shape of glass unless i remove it first.
then half the time i get some wrinkling on the art that i am applying. as you know, even the slightest raised edge and you are fucked with these images.

gonna try your tech. i am blasting today so i will give it a go.

i need to try the blue stuff too.

Dude you should blast a piece of 9mm green tube to look like a rolled up dollar bill for straw. Would be the only appropriate way to drink outta that. Fuckin winning!
