Our January meeting is back in Concord, NC. We'll be meeting at the Stained Glass Connection on Saturday, January 28 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Plan to shop beforehand, so that we can get the most from our meeting time. Randy has a torch set up for us to do demos on - I think it's a Major. Let me know if you're interested in doing a torch demo or off-torch demo. We'll have a challenge, which will be Lines. I think that was going to be our challenge last time, but we didn't get to it. Also bring a bead for a bead exchange, if you'd like. Of course, those beads can be one and the same. And I need volunteers for drinks and snacks. I hope everyone in the area will try to come; Concord is north of Charlotte on I-85, not too far from the Triad area and a couple of hours from the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill), if that.
We're going to try to have our next few meetings in Columbia, Asheville and the Triangle area. Still working on dates/times (story of my life). In other news, dues are due! Dues are $20/year for individuals and $30 for a business or family membership. If you signed up at the October meeting (Cary) or later last year, you are covered for 2006. You can bring your dues to our next meeting in Concord, or send them to Betty Evans, our Treasurer. Let me know if you need her address, or if you have any other questions - or to get on our email list.
Thanks -
Courtney
