Stacker Series

Recently started a new series called The Stacker series. This is a heady take on the new series.

Features, 6 hole hops inline diffuser, splash guard, 4 discs, 2 honeycombs and 66 horns (most are alien tech). It sits nice and sturdy and is easy to hold left or right handed.

I havent held it before but by looking it over and seeing where everything is located its def a lefty bowl or else the bowl would of been on the left side, it had no good hand holding spots other wise

And if its not to much to ask, how do you do your flat discs?

I work them into a big ball shape, then get the entire thing evenly heated until it starts to want to flare up, then I focus a little more heat on the face for a second heating back and forth ass it swells back into a big flat face. pop a hole, punty, repeat on other face.

btw there is no such thing as a lefty bowl. i've had lefty's request them on both sides, it all depends on what hand your lighter is in and if your too douchy to adapt.

I think the only reason people got testy is because A) Frankie is a beast behind the torch and probably knows that function is as important as artistic styling in this particular field aka functional glass art :), and B) The community is very protective of its own, and while your comment may not have been meant in a negative light, people may have taken it as you speaking ill of another members glass which is a big no no up in this piece! We support everyone here from newbs to pros.

I am gonna take a second opportunity to comment how nasty this piece is.... Frankie you are awesome, oh and that piece you did entitled Phantom that you made... surprise surprise on your Phantom... very inspirational to me at the time cause I was working on one of the smaller GTTs too and getting frustrated that I couldn't go big. "You showed me the way and gave me something to say, and all I took in return was a second look" Paraphrasing some Biggie Smalls but its the truth.

This piece is awesome. Love it.

Confused by the lefty comment. I am right handed...and I hold a piece in my left and light it with my right...as most do. Beyond that, I have never had a lefty use one of my pipes and and complain that it was hard to light. The artist in question would not be so well established if his work was anything less than functional.

Learn to make something that requires actual skill and talent, and then you have earned the right to negatively critique truly talented work.
