Got a wierd email from Grahams lil bro to call him, no answer when I did but checked his facebook and Im devastated. Not sure what to say, other than this kid was a bad ass, he will be so missed :( So glad I got to meet, spend time, and work with him :turtle: Send his family some good vibes for me everyone

god that is horrible, horrible news.

i sold graham a torch less than half a year ago, we never met, but did email and speak on the phone. he seemed like a level headed kid enjoying life and finding inspiration through glasswork. i trusted him enough just from talking to him on the phone to ship the torch ahead before payment to let him see if he liked it. i looked forward to meeting him in tucson when he made his way over.

really tragic to lose another young new mexico glassblower. r.i.p. graham. positive thoughts go out to his family and friends from the bottom of my heart.

A young torch was extinguished far too early.

My sympathies once again, Turtle. He was obviously a very bright kid. My thoughts go out to you, his family and friends. What positive vibes I have, I'll be sending in that direction.

Stay strong, my friend

This is so sad... I am sure this young man would have been an inspiration to us all with his work.

The universe has a very fucked up way of working sometimes.

Turtle, keep the memories of your friend close to your heart forever, and carry him with you everywhere you go.

Riley I got a lot of pics of him on my FaceBook he talked very highly of you and said he thought you were one of the best people on this forum, hopefully that puts a smile on your face, I still cant believe it, way to young for sure, this kid was one of the coolest people Ive met, not to mention so so so smart and could apply it all . Was looking forward to spending a lot more time with him many more collabs. Im calling the shops I sold 2 of our pieces to, today to see if I can work somethin out to get em back if they still got em. I wanna send his lil brother one, and the ones I have still will never be sold. Im super bummed, and still not sure what happend, but I know he lived his life the way that made him happy and lived each day to the fullest. but this is fucked up, keep hoping i will wake up and its a bad dream :( thanks for the support yall :turtle:

While it is not much consolation right now, as the wounds from his passage heal know that there are not many people that get the privledge of loving the life they lead. Your friend was truely blessed for having that.

Talked to his lil bro today, Wanted to share this with yall since it helped me gain some acceptance and start to move past the shock and hard core grieving stage. Graham was an avid long boarder and was participating in a race when he had a bad wreck and hit his head real bad. I guess his brain was gone instantly, his brother said that his strong body held on but that his mind was gone, not sure the rest , but he is no longer with us. FARE THEE WELL MT BURN May you have every torch, and never ending pile of glass and unlimited oxy in your next life.

I will never forget you!

Fuck man, the shitty part is that this kind of stuff happens a lot with boarders, motorcyclist, ect.... helmets, I don't understand how looking dumb doesn't take precedence over protecting your noodle, there is a lot of important stuff up there to keep safe!

I am in no way passing judgement on anyone, because I have done and continue to do dumb ass things on the reg. but rather then be commenting on this thread we could have all been commenting on his fucking NASSSSSTY glass work.

Just sad I guess.

Again Turtle, so sorry. Keep your boy in your thoughts no matter how much it hurts now, you will appreciate it more and more as time goes by. He will live on in you and all those he touched.

damn, that's a hell of a way to go. But it is much more respectable than fading out or passing by your own hand, as many seem to do. Sorry for your loss, as a fellow glass blower I can feel your pain, and as a fellow skateboarder I can say may he rip in peace.

Again, Rest in Peace Graham!!. May we all live our lives as he did, doing what we love. Lets live our lives to the fullest everyday and take care of the ones around us.

Turtle, what a great friend you are!

sometimes the end comes when we least expect it. at least it came to him doing something he loved.

i worked with a guy in yellowstone that passed when he got struck by lighting going 60+ on his motorcycle. you never now so enjoy the ride while its moving.
