still living the dream in ohio!! so i've been around here for years. YEARS. i've been doing offhand for about 11 years and lampworking for about 10 (those are skewed numbers though.. probably more like 7 and 4 if you really work out the actual time blowing). anyway, for a few years i stopped posting here and only checked in every once in a while just to keep up with the state of the nation. "why?" is probably the question that the few of you reading this don't care about...haha
i've been spending most of my time in the hotshop for the past few years and am just now getting back into the torch (got a studio! sweet!), so i've been spending lots of time here brushing up on my techniques and lots of time at the torch sort of re-learning. i'm having a blast! right now i'm doing all boro, but i also have about 10 lbs of moretti that i'm going to start playing with again..... my whole life is glass. if i'm not blowing or assisting or coldworking i'm probably out riding a bike or nursing an injury caused by one of many hazardous activities that i seem to enjoy so much.
anyway, hello again to everyone and thanks to all of you for making this place a goldmine of knowledge!
