It's a color caddy!
here's the top view
and a close up of the top
close up of the top front section
and a view from the front
I think it's pretty cool. It's mounted on a piece of plywood with strategically placed 2/4 and 1/4's in the back of it that are all screwed in... oh and I stained the wood too 8).There's 18 sections on the bottom two levels that can each hold over a pound of color, there's 9 sections in the middle level that can each hold a little over 4 pounds of color, and 5 sections on the top level that can probably each hold 10 pounds of color. So it can hold over 100 pounds of color!!! It's organized and portable, if I need to go work at a friends shop I can just pick it up and have all my colors with me, and I could even put some tube and rod in the top sections. Everything would be safe and stay seperate without a risk of breakage.
It can also stand up on the back side, and I was thinking in that position I could put some kind of snaps on there for "back pack" straps, to carry around like a backpack.
So what do you guys/girls think about it? Should I make a few to sell if the cuts on the pvc tubing were cleaner?
