you're right, we should all appreciate dishonest people. If pipes never got stolen we'd be doing a lot less work!

LOL sometimes this site bands together about bad vendors etc and when i mention that these people have stolen finished glass from my bro I get called a hater. that makes sense.

If it helps I buy pizza all the time for 5$ a whole large pie, 2 toppings, thin crust, freshly cooked and ready to munch down. Show up at closing with an I/O spoon and you can trade for lots of pizza.

Wait I'm sure that doesn't help the missing glass. But damn nice pictures and thanks for sharing.

Can anyone comment on the liquid set-up ? What size tank is that. How is it filled? Must be filled on location by a huge truck or something.

First off where are my manners. Big ups to hippi for taking so many good pics and taking the time to upload them here. I was unable to make it this year and that bummed me out. I also dont have sites like facebook etc so this is the only place for me to see pics of the event.


As for the glass. No it was not at the DFO, that would have certainly be mentioned. The situation in question was at tonasket barterfaire a few years back my friend arranged for a trade of i/o chillums for a pizza, when we went to pay he showed them 4 pieces to pick 2 from and they passed them all around the crew and kitchen and then gave 1 back he was like where is the other 1? they said " we only got 3 to look at man, we dont konw what you're talking about" I saw the pieces he gave them and saw him onlky get 1 back. it was a 15$ chillum so not a huge deal, its more the principle that they were getting $60 retail of glass already for a pizza and thought it acceptable to take another piece.

Sorry for threadjacking but when i see the same people at the flameoff and barterfaire every year and know that they justify stealing to themselves it upsets me every time. also they have pretty good pizza from good ingredients and its hard to resist. But still i have to say something.

Mer mind elaborating about the liquid 02 setup that was in use that I saw in some of the pictures? How is it filled and how much does it hold? etc. Something about a frosty tank of liquid oxygen gets me all excited.

i'm afraid i don't have the specifics, i just know it's giant!!! there's a satellite uplink in the top that tells airgas when to send a truck to fill it, it's pretty amazing. i wouldn't want to see the bill.

that oxy set up with the frosty fins is an evaporator (on a very large liquid tank). the evaporator works with a liquid regulator and is like an external pressure builder for high volume. you can get them in different sizes, and they're the key to running lots of stations without using two tanks

i just realized that socal laws are BS its been a pain in the ass trying to get liquid diliverd to my house...i was guessing cause its not a commerical area...but cornerstones tank is litterly 10ft tall + proly 6+ ft around and theres a house 20ft away lol... hmmm maybe my airgas guys are just lazy

Sacredhaze, yes that is the company. But you should be able to talk to your Oxy rep and they have ways of finding them. I started asking my rep, and two months later he said someone was moving up to a bigger tank and this 700 Liter was available.

Best thing in the world, rocking out over the weekend and not being empty on Monday morning and having to call the gas company for the evil "Same day delivery"

Hippi, sorry my man, in So cal they stopped shipping to residental. BUT have you looked into Drew's oxy bottle fill station? THAT is the way to go, especially for a residence

OMG I just looked onto that chart industries site, and they have perma cells at 200 liter size. DUDES! This would mean no more off venting and % loss at the bottom of tanks.
