sentry express 3 controller issues

so my controller will take the kiln to the hold temp the start to cycle but but hovers nearly 20 degrees lower than the hold temp. it did this before and i played around with the segments and it ran fine. one day put it back to my prefered settings and it ran fine. today its doing it again. and i cant trick it into working proper again. so i call paragon which i did the first time this happened. they dunno, say buy new board. so i ask how to reset board, maybe its just confused. so we reset board but cant change any parameters. so now im stuck with a controller that thinks its running a fiber kiln and safety shut off is 2012f. but the controller ramps and holds fine now.

so they wont email the details of programming my controller only walk through. and i got the impression that my tech wasnt very techy.

dont know what to ask just looking for any relevant knowledge.
