I have a good friend who works with thermoplastic injection molding, and he brought me a dozen pairs of these gloves: http://www.magidglove.com/Magid-ROC-GP150-Grey-100-Nylon-Machine-Knit-Gloves-with-Grey-Polyurethane-Palm-Coating.aspx

These are AWESOME. feels like you are wearing nothing they are so thin, they are extremely heat resistant and they have a very grippy surface AND they are nearly impossible to cut. I worked all day with them yesterday and liked them so much I just ordered a dozen. I didnt even notice I was wearing them. I got size 7 and they are perfect.

Those look nice, I bet it's comfortable.

Not sure about the safety, though - synthetics can melt to your skin and burn the shit out of you. That's why it's better to wear natural fiber clothing on the torch, too - hemp or cotton singe and turn to ash, polyester starts on fire and melts.

The specs say "Flame Resistant: No", so I'd have to say I wouldn't recommend these for flamework.

They would be great for coldworking glass, or cutting sheets for fusing.

i couldn't even imagine how much that would suck having a synthetic glove melt onto your hand! synthetics will melt right into your pores, its like ripping off a piece of duct tape but some skin comes off too
