I decided to make a thread so I can post photos in one place instead of making new threads every time.
Top: New Paragon Kiln *thanks Paragon and Sundance for the great deal $1080 for a new F130!* With 4 pipes, a marble and a pendant, just before I ran out of oxy last night.
Middle: 4 wrap/rake spoons, 3 black/orange clear rake on 25mm with silver fume (dunno why some of the orange came out red looking) and 1 jamboree (didn't flame or kiln strike) wrapped/rake, raked with clear.
Bottom: Just another angle.

heres a quick lesson : look at the forum name you post in then choose the right one , there is a picture forum , this just creates more work for the mods . Pay attention is #1 rule .
On a pic note , looks good . look around the forum for the V pop method of opening your tube ends , quick and easy way gives great end 99% of the time .

My apologies for posting in the wrong forum and for making more work for the mods.
I did a search, tried searching all forums, tried using vpop, v+pop and v pop as the search words to no avail, so many threads with pop in the body but nothing eludes to them having v-pop in the body. Would you mind a quick explanation? If one can be given literally.

get a blob on end of your tube , you can use it for you stem as well. basically like ======o o being blob then smash the blob flat like this======] set it aside for few min and do a few more then go back and pop the disk off the end . slide tweezers down the length of tube and it should pop end off easy peasy.
if I recall the threads deal with opening blowtube ends or along those lines.

Oh I get it, when I pull points I put a little dab of glass at the end of the blowtube then knock it off with my cutter (a butterknife also works), this opens the closed blowtube for me to be able to fire polish then work with. Same principal but a flattened glob on the end of a very very short "point" right? Excellent. Ty

Nice work man! Your I/O linework is looking good. Being able to properly melt and shape I/O is an excellent skill to master, and you'll find that the practice will help with a lot of other techs in the long run. Basic glass control/reducing is KEY
How are your seals lookin?
Keep it up bro!

I had both pieces ripping hot when I sealed the mouthpiece to the can and blew in to even it out. then I put on the permanent bridge and melted that shit in pretty good (I think). I think its pretty solid but I dunno how to test it w/o breaking it LOL.
I also made some little diffuser beads from left over cane and stringer. looks pretty sweet!
ill get some good shots of the weld shortly

I really like the black and white GonG bowls, they look really nice.
And the Slyme (maybe?) and black combo always looks good, your work is really starting to look great!
The welds on the last bubblers look good, but I'm really in no place to be giving critique of welds, so probably disregard that as anything but a compliment :)

Thanks Rookie! Yeah its slyme and black. As far as welds go they are pretty solid.
It's all about melting the glass together so that it is all one piece. And bridging, bridging is by far the best damn thing on Earth when it comes to assembly.
I torque on them a bit to test them.:bouncy:

Ya baby, nice work. Black shirly's got some action goin down!
If you dont mind me askin, what size/thickness tube you start with on pinchies? I like the thickness and shape for the iso's, thick but not too thick, and the right size pinch. It would be lifetime debter.
Also, nubber thanks for bringing up the punty trick like two years ago. I like using my jaws and doin up like 20 and switching em out, but maybe I should start doing the tweezers thing.

I start with 32mm standard wall and condense them to about 14mm. some are blown in and some are iso :D
thanks all! have some nice pics of 4 beakers i made but cant seem to get them to upload. will try later.

Your shit looks awesome. You've mentioned "blown in screen" and "multi hole bowl" - any change you could take a pic of the inside of the bowl push and show me exactly what you mean by these two terms? I'm quite curious. Thanks!

thanks matt! I have been sworn to secrecy and (orally) contractually obligated not to show pictures of the bowl in photos. The guy who taught me Randall Straight (str8glass on instagram) told me he would show me but I could never show people pics or disclose the details of how he does it. I refer people to him if they want to learn so please contact him. :D
I am however at liberty to say that Bandhu (Scott Dunham) covers the technique in Contemporary Lampworking. although its not showing how to do a bowl he does cover how to drill holes in glass with tungsten.
