I've had some trouble lately selling my stuff. I've been doing production $10-12 range and some semi headi stuff for a while now and just can't move it at all.

I'm planning on starting a cheaper prodo line (shop owners show me the janky $5 pieces and say they want those), I really didn't want to do that if it can be helped.

I have to generate some sales, I feel like I'm stalling.

I don't produce a ton as this is my part time gig but I do put out a good amount of work every month. My goal was to pay the rent with glass.

Anyone got some advice or know a distributor who is looking for a steady stream of prodo?

Thanks

Hit me up with pics and I can direct you to some shops that are needing glass.

Well, Abe, you sweet thang, that hold true for everybody? :)

Edit*

In retrospect, this might look like a high-jacking. But I was trying for funny.

Ive had a problem selling anything with a ground glass joint lately. I have sold everything in my case but havent sold a single bowl or hood lately. Don't know if the market is flooded or what but I feel like Ive had the same 20 bowls in my case for the last month. I have been traveling alot so havent been in selling mode.

I got lucky and I have a little niche of the market that I seem to have a constant demand for the products I make. I also make a wide variety of items so that when one type of product doesnt sell, hopefully something else will. Jewelry, pendants, and other NON pipe related stuff has been keeping me afloat lately. Sold $200 in pendants to one shop last week. Thats my largest straight pendant sale ever.

I guess my best advice is make a wide variety of stuff and dont make just pipes. Think about how much you can expand your customer base by making some pendants, or jars (which sell to shops and non smokers alike), marbles (which dont really sell except to certain people), shot glasses (anyone who drinks would love a badass custom shot glass) or other things.

Also if you have a chance to blow glass in public, at a festival, friends party or anything like that you can generate A LOT of new leads that way. People love watching glass blowing and I recently worked a lil festi for the first time and sold $400 of glass in 2 days, all custom cheapo pipes made while I was there. Could have made more but I wasnt prepared for the volume and quickly ran out of points.

This does hold true. I have tons of shops that need glass pipes. If people want to send me some pics of some models they are making I will see if I can help.

Abe,

I need help. I've sent you a PM with a link to my wholesale catalogue. I could really use some new clients and get myself more established outside of my local market.

You rock, thanks.

What the shops I know need are good inside out hand pipes, that are clean. I might even start buying prodo to sell again so lets see what you guys got. All of the stores and myself are looking for people that want to work, can fill deadlines and make sure you keep the quility up at all times. At one point about five tears ago I had a company selling over $1,000,000 in sales of glass pipes and I want to do it again. I am not sure when I will start this but by the end of the year I hope. This will help lots of people and make a safe place to sell products.
