MASTERING GLASS FRITS WITH VAL COX

July 23-24, Sat (10am-5pm) & Sun (10am-4pm)
This two-day flameworking class will teach you to master both creative and technical approaches for incorporating furnace glass frits into your beadmaking style. Working with 96 coe furnace glass cane, we will explore all aspects of using these vibrant and reactive glass colors, including faux boro, raku and other color-shifting opaques, designing your own color blends, hot-glass painting and many other frit techniques and approaches. Emphasis will be on adapting various techniques to enhance and expand each student’s beadmaking style, through instruction, demonstration, practice and individual guidance.Open to all students with some prior beadmaking skill from beginning to experienced/advanced.
