I can do the small images but the strips im failling on, it would make a big differance in my pipes.

you know you can buy pre-coated dichro tubing, right?

sleeving it is easier than applying full strips to a tube.
try it for yourself...just don't buy $1000 worth without trying it.
as for full strips... more heat on the tube....
more heat. more heat. more heat.

I would second doug on this. apply most of your heat to the tube. It's like applying the tube to the strip of dicro not the dicro to the tube.

Measure the length and circumference of your tube. Cut a piece of dichro to match those measurements. Heat a lengthwise line on the tube and attach preheated , coated side down, to that line. Heat the entire length of the dichro from the attachment point on, marveling it to the tube as you work your way down.
That being said, I burn dichro like nobody's business. The stuff Saeed was selling at AGE was awesome. He promised I wouldn't burn it out and he was right.
