Made a few mistakes writing on the back of a pendant for somebodies wedding. Any way to remove the titanium deposit?

did you get the name of the bride wrong?
as to removal, I've never had that problem, but I think Hydrochloric acid may be the go. It dissolves Titanium but won't touch the glass ... here in Australia you can buy it at the hardware store, so maybe over your way, too ... although, who knows, US customs won't let Vegemite through ...

the vegemite can stay there. My aunt lives there and has smugled it home, nasty. dont know how you could even aquire a taste that. She says marmite, the US version is nt good. It tasted the same to me.

Id say Hf or sand and polish it off

yeah can't fire polish it off it will burn in. If you can tweeze it off without messing up you piece that will be the quickest way i can think of....although acid sounds fun too......And Aussies idea might work as well ;)

I was going to suggest a dremel with a felt disc and some jeweler's rouge,
but Oxy Clean just sounds easier.
I normally just fire-polish and re-write over the same spot. I does burn it in, but the new mark is so much brighter that nobody notices the old marks.
I'll see if I still have one that I fixed.
oxy clean, ka-boom, or just cover it with mighty putty

Oxi-Clean really works? I'll have to try that out... I've used nitric acid 80%, works well but not really safe.

It would be nice to find an actual use for the oxy clean.

oxy clean works really well to clean up blood.. from carpet at least.
...
son had a couple bloody noses. that'll teach him to run around at night =) bam! right into the door frame.
let it soak, dab it, reapply.. wait.. dab it.. and poof.. it really does almost disappear.. kinda weird.

When I mess up using a Ti-Pen I fire polish it off as much as I can and re sign. like FredLight said I think it makes my sig. a little more noticable.
Will try the oxy clean too(it got my ex wifes blood out of my car) Since I made these things (Ti-Pens) i have been trying to find an easier way to remove the markings. If anyone finds something else or has feedback(always love feedback) or questions hit me up on the site Aspenglass.com. And all suggestions are welcome, am thinking of making some changes to it.
peroxide is great for removing blood too. in case you don't have any oxy clean around.
