Hey everybody my fellow AZ lampworkers were so inspired by the Colorado Project that one is in the works for AZ. I am not sponsoring or throwing this event just helping some friends get the word out and helping where I can.
So far the event will be held early February during the Tucson Best Bead show. It will be held at the Graffix warehouse and Mr. Heads bar/glass art gallery. I heard that they were finalizing the charity today and that there was a facebook page, but I can't find it yet.
I will keep you guys updated. Thanks for reading and please spread the word!!! THX

The website is up and running: http://theazproject.com/
The charity is Integrative Touch for Kids: http://www.integrativetouch.org/
"Integrative Touch for Kids is working to change the way people think about health and healing for children with special health needs and their families. We are creating a new model of care that recognizes the whole child and the whole family. When a child has special health needs, their family has special health needs. We empower children and families and create networks of support within communities.
In July of 2009, we completed the launch of our pilot healing retreat program serving children with special health needs and their families. The highly successful program that integrated whole systems medicine and a whole family approach was the first of its kind in the nation. Our second healing retreat, which was held June 20th-26th, 2010, was equally successful. Our healing retreats form the first circle of an integrated community by bringing together families with children with special health needs, host families, volunteers, and healing arts practitioners. The retreat programs become a locus where healing, education, awareness and an experience of community can be nurtured and developed."
Thanks for reading!
