Registration process keeps removing my password and cycles me through the process without retaining my password. I have tried several different passwords.

I suspect a name like eak435s looks (but isn't) like the kind of random character string spambots generate to make accounts... I would try a new name/password combo, and possibly a new email address. Despite the admins wishes most of these forum softwares have pretty strict anti-spam filters built in.
