Does anyone know where I can get a lense for my video camera, so I can film demos. Before I have just used a pair of glasses held to the camera, but that sucks. Thanks for any input, I know someone has figured out a good tech

abr sells lenses... or call a glasses maker ... see what filters you can get and what size your camera is and see if you can send them a lens filter ring to fit...

the reason the glasses sucked (besides the fact that they're hard to hold to the camera ) was because there was light getting between the glasses and the camera lense (this makes for poor video quality). if you made it so that this wouldn't happen, it would greatly improve the quality.

also set the camera up so that you have control over the aperture. this way your camera will not blow out with light, or get that super dark look.

Mike A can make you a real nice one. you need to send him a filter frame that fits your camras lens and he will cut a pcs of glass to fit it.

Send Mike a cheap UV filter of the same size you need for your camera and tell him to put a didydium filter in it for you. I will cost you around $40 plus shipping. I have two that work great for videos.

andrew, I have tried rigging a single lense as well, But your right, the light gap creates a bluriness and some other funk that just don't look good. The lense on the camera is also larger than the piece I have from the glasses. I am def going to buy the lense from aura, they can't be too expensive, well worth the investment, Thanks hot glass, I was wondering where I would get just a lense frame

aura makes good lenses indeed, I'm ordering a pair of goggles this week. I suggested what i did because sometimes people use small hand helds that the glass lense is more than big enough (and i didn't know what size you had). good luck with the filming!
