When you constrict the can it helps to put a down stem carb to the water line to help function, stale smoke sucks for the next person.
Keep at it, lookin really good.
Good luck, Peace

Rubix- I think Rowdy is advising you to use a "snorkel carb"

Your work is looking great for four months in. Applebutter seems to be teaching you well and it's obvious you're working a ton and liking it!

You can be sure people are looking, but it's normal to not hear a ton of comments unless you're asking a specific question. I enjoy looking at everyone's work.
It's difficult to provide constructive or detailed feedback on beginner work. I think that usually, the maker knows what is wrong or right with the pieces already, and listing all the different flaws or things that could be different about shaping, etc. won't be that useful. We can't tell from photos exactly how good the seals, wall thickness consistency and other technical details are turning out and probably your teacher is in a better position to help with that. People just starting out often aren't really expressing their own style yet, either, so it's premature to comment on that aspect most of the time, too.

X2 what he said. I browse these threads, but I usually keep my mouth shut (better to stay silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt). Unless you ask for specific feedback, you gotta remember most of the people here have been there, done that, and worn the t-shirt until it wore out...
edit: I'm not one of those people, just sayin' don't let it get you down.

Four months?
I've done my first color/line work after 4 years, beginning as a scientific blower.
Very nice, just stick to it!
