West Michigan Glass Art Center is proud of offer this exquisite, not to be missed flameworking glass workshop by visiting artist, Emilio Santini. This flame working (or lampworking) class will cover all the steps of making of a glass Venetian goblet. You will learn how to blow a straight glass bubble to the final step of opening a cup and foot to assembling them with a Venetian stem or a figure as the stem. Lip wrap application, correct use of jacks, preparing the proper bubble for the foot and all the other tricks needed for the execution of a Venetian goblet will be shown by Emilio Santini.
