Signing up for Facebook hurts less than when you signed away your souls for those skills. You don't have to actively participate. You dont have to click "like". Its easier to upload photos to their site than here, and most mobile phones have it semi-integrated.

Furthermore, if someone does post pics to facebook, they don't have to link them here. Thanks jbob, great pics.

Furthermore, I appreciate the small size of our regular community. It's more personal than you'd imagine, as reading the same guy's posts over years gives you (some) semblance of their attitudes. I think there's already enough cross promotion on other forums and etc., bringing winners such as Alienscience to the fold.

And SHHH everyone, I think Misha made this page. Facebook automatically creates a 'page' for anything new you type in as your employer, so not sure if that was her goal or if we're just going with it actually! Maybe we'll inspire the next three Nomads this way, have faith.

another option would be to make your photos available to everyone on FB, then no friend request or anything is required. Unless you just want to build your friends list. I always find it interesting when people make their wall public, but not their pictures.

fwiw, i do not like fb...however if you don't go with the flow you get pushed out of the way, so there we are. i didn't know how the pages keep being made but there's more than one. i deleted two lol. the one i think you guys might be talking about i actually made by adding MP to my work info, seeing it made a page but with no control/buttons so made a real one so we can expand on it.

i know there's been another one made since cause prima linked me to it lol.

people will find us with or without it, and i think (hope) we'll be around when fb isn't the latest fad anymore. so i figure why keep fighting it.

by the way, you can upload and post your pics here, you don't need a third party site. Mobile theme was just released for our coming vb upgrades, and is not far from being public. stayed tuned! :blowkiss:
