Furnace classes with the master J-Red coming soon. Anybody thinking about incorperating hand pulled tubing into their work or production, doesn't want to miss one of three classes coming up. Classes will focus on furnace safety, ventillation, furnace maintinence, neccesary equipment, mixing color, double dip combos, clear pots, advanced techniques, wet saw useage, prepping tubing, etc.
Each class will show start to finish techniques. From pulling the tubing and rod, prep, incorperating line tubing to go into a large piece. each class will be J-Red with a highly skilled assistant. This will be a hands on type of class with plenty of time for students to participate both out of the furnace and on the torch. Long sessions (10+ hours each day). A couple of meals included and discount lodging availible.

So it looks like the 4th,5th, and 6th of November will be the dates of the Wisco class. It's filling up quick, so anyone interested should drop us a line soon. The Oakland class will be at end of November, and dates will be announced soon. Most equipment will be provided, but bringing your own torch is recommended. Don't miss out, these will be some intensive fun filled classes.

Just making sure you know that this is the weekend of the show in Madison. The show ends at 5pm on that Friday the 4th. Let me know if I can provide anything for the demos in Wisco.

I'll gladly take the class but I know I won't be able to do the friday session because of Glassroots. Any chance the 3rd day could be the 7th instead?

Sorry, I got the dates mixed up. 5,6,7th of November. The day after the show. Mecha- the class at the Toro shop hasn't gained much interest yet. With J-red, JP, Alex K (and I'm sure there will be at least one more heavy hitter) it's kind of suprising that that class wasn't the first to be filled. Anyone interested in that class, let us know.
These classes are for mid level and advanced glass workers only. Alot of you guys already know J-Red's skill level, but most don't know what a great teacher he really is. Our intention with these classes is that every student has a great time and leaves with the knowledge and skill level to go home and make quality prep with confidence.

P.S.- to those asking about the payment, we are taking a non refundable deposit of half with the remainder due by the first day of each class.

Correction- Plenty of interested people. Unfortunately, when it came time to collect the deposits, there were some shortcomings. We understand though. Not easy being a starving artist these days. Sorry to those of you that did have the funds that can't go now. J-Red and I have focused our efforts on the other two classes. There are still a few spots left for the Oaktown classes, and the New York class got postponed until we can get Oakland class finished. Thanks
