Hello to all

Let me introduce myself. I'm 30 years old, from Germany (Essen). My studio is still under construction. I'll read along here in the forum. I hope I can soon show pictures of my first work.

In the beginning I want to buy the following accessories:

Midrange Bench (soon as possible a Arnold torch http://www.arnold-gruppe.de)
Paragon BlueBird XL
exhaust air system 410cbm/h

Borosilakatglass
tools (glasses etc..)
Book: Bandhu Dunham Lampworking Vol1&2

What you think about? missing something important?
Do you have other recommendations?

make capitalism history - another world is possible - take back your live!

Sunny greetings from Germany

welcome

With the cost of shipping and customs i think you should look at other kilns. i am sure there are more local options.

personally i would skip the midrange ... and go to a redmax... or euro based torch company. many exist.

Contemp lampworking is a good set , a must read.

good luck

Thanks for the reply.

€ 825 is the cheapest Kiln. It is sent via the Netherlands. When I fetch the kiln I can buy another Torch (GTT). Or I immediately order an Arnold. 3 weeks to think I have.

Here a picture from the studio which is still under construction.

I just built a controller for a kiln using Auber parts, less than 200 USD. You could pick up a small used ceramic kiln for about 200 USD locally, total cost about 400 USD.
