View Full Version : stepping down
Degenerate Family,
i've been fortunate to be your liaison to the dfo for the past three years and it has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. the show is strong and it's time for me to turn back into the shop and concentrate on the fire. i wish the next talent coordinator luck and happiness in my position, it truly has been exhilarating. i'll still be around, i'll just be a little more relaxed!
much love~mer

Can't thank you enough for all of your efforts, Mer. You've put together some of the best piper gatherings in history. Real talk.
Glad you've gotten the recognition you deserved for your time, dedication and sacrifices. Especially the Silver Dollar Club that Hamm came up with.
My buddy Lub and I had flown out the day after our high school graduation with his older brother for DFO 1. We were all completely shell-shocked by how incredible that weekend turned out and vowed to never miss a future DFO. Even as some out-of-place youngsters everyone made us feel welcome and part of the fam. It was the DFO that truly inspired me to get on the torch and continues to provide me with endless inspiration.
Between your work here at the GLDG and the DFO, it's relieving to hear you'll be back to focusing on your torch some more.
Unlimited props my friend

As the true mastermind behind it's conception, the love and exemplary guidance you have shown, to all Degenerate flame-workers, has been an integral part of the DFO's success. It is just not going to be the same without you.

Alas, so I'll never catch a Mer-operated DFO. I've heard a lot of great things about it. Congrats on a great run. Best of luck to the future of the show, I hope to attend next year!

When you make it out to a DFO it will be much better for Mer time now. Even when I stayed at his house, I didn't see him for more than 15-30 minutes each day. And then he was off, regulatin' and shit.
And I never saw a pony...it must have died.
