Sometime's that's part of the problem trying to search actually. But yeah, search first.

On a related note, sometimes I find using Google to search the forum works better than the built in search function.

For example:

"fume" "green" site:Ok, here's where it gets a little muddy...

Normally you could say:

"fume" "green" site:www.talkglass.com

But since the forum has a few different names, it's not always clear what got indexed and when, though you'd like to hope there's a similar result set for the varying domain names.

you can try this as well:

site:thegldg.com

From there, you can whittle your results down by excluding stuff you *know* you don't want.

"fume" "green" site:talkglass.com -vomit -sinbad -sammich

I use a light fume with 22K gold leaf. You'll have to experiment with the amount. Too much fume or adding reduction and I end up with gold/yellow.
