Found this video of a glass steam engine on the web n thought i'd post it on here. Looks like Bandhu Scott Dunham's work...

Been thinking about making one for a long time, thanks, interesting to see how someone else would do it.

Wow that is really cool. I'd think that there'd be a market with collector for something like that.

Wonder what its lifespan is. How soon would the glass wear from the contact/friction?

Thanks for the link.

Sorry Grape, I can't tell you anything about the colors. I'm just a collector and picked that marble up from Rich Hollingshead. Rich's website (http://www.route66glassworks.com/)

That's fucking cool. Surprised my screen addict boyfriend didn't show it to me first.

This is a great design, it seems simpler than other glass steam engines I've seen.
Thanks for posting Grape, it reminded me of my dream to one day make one of my own. I googled steam engines and came across a wiki page for the Aeolipile - check it out! (http://www.talkglass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41417&highlight=steam)

That is cool..yet simple design. I took an order for a motocross and a tractor, the locomotive was a tough one.
