I purchased a quarter sheet of DA Rasta Gold which had a corner cut off when it arrived. I "assumed" that was a heads up on which direction to cut it to get all the colors in the strip of dichro. After doing that and working a pendant it came out of the kiln blingy and nice but all green dichro only. I did not get any of the gold dichro in there so I must have not cut it right. Does that angle cut in the quarter sheet mean anything as far which direction to cut? I wish I purchased it precut now but hopefully I will learn what I did wrong. I can call DA on Monday and ask them but hoping I can figure out what I did wrong.

I use sections of only about 1 sq. inch for pendants - there's not much of a chance to get multiple colors in a piece like that from most pieces of dichro. You can see the colors when you're cutting the sheet, right?

The angle on the piece of glass isn't meant to indicate anything, that's just how the pieces of glass that they use are shaped.

Every DA piece I've gotten has some of the best material on that "cut corner".
