What you paid + shipping.

OK, OK, I'm kidding.

I take it you're looking for offers?

Hey Fred, what's up man?
No, I had someone email me wanting to buy one. I hadn't planned on selling anything out of my collection, but I might I guess. I just need to tell him a price and I can't decide. Just curious if they were worth a bunch more than they were 5 years ago.

I'd say they are just based on the fact that he doesn't make many. I'd guess in the $300 to $500 range.

But seriously... Glass is very subjective. It depends how many were made, how many people are in the market for that marble, but overall it is how much the interested party is willing to spend.

Don't sell yourself short if it's a marble you would like to hold onto but don't scare him away. Perhaps you could give him a high number and say you weren't in a rush to part with it but would consider their best offer (possibly even be open to trades).

although pakoh marbles are probably pretty rare, i don't know if being an '06 is old enough to warrant a big increase in value. i'd say, what you paid plus shipping, but definitely factor in additional personal value. if you don't want to sell it for what you paid then don't...that would mean it either has sentimental value to you, or you're greedy and trying to make money. that's my thought on the issue.

ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!

Honestly, I have no clue. I would just ask yourself what it's worth to you, market be damned.

For instance, "X" amount of dollars could do/buy this for you. Is that worth the marble? Or do you like the marble more than say, 60 chili cheese dogs, or 18 handjobs, or taking a good friend out and getting them drunk. If you do, then don't sell the marble or ask more for it. If you do ask more and they don't buy it, you've still won, as you've reached the best possible outcome.

I should also note, I'm slightly drunk right now, so perhaps bear that in mind when considering this advice.

Hmm, so Icarus considers a handjob to be worth 3.3 chili cheese dogs.

pakoh says it's probably worth 250-300$

but i guess things are worth whatever people are willing to pay for them right?

I bet you could get $600!

Brian told me someone was wanting to buy his spy vs Pakoh marble and he told them $1000, but he didn't really want to sell it and they said it was too high a price.

Its all about how bad the buyer really wants the marble.

The questions is, for that conversion ratio to work we need need to know, are they bad handjobs or great chili cheese dogs?

I've had days that I would have gladly given 3.3 chili dogs for a handjob.

Was that before or after he banned Pakoh from the marble forum for posting a marble of Dick Cheney with the word 'Dick' on his forehead? Having recently been banned myself for asking the name of a business, I'm curious how it might affect the price of my work.

^you should make a bk bowden marble and sell it to anybody but him, maybe it could be a prize for getting kicked off GA. this would amuse me greatly.

What is the location of this place of rediculousness? They kicked YOU for asking the name of a business? I think it will make your work more valuable, having your ties severed with asshats.
