scientific glass schools

Does anyone know about any scientific glass schools or programs in europe. I'm lookin to make a career move.

I would check out Salem Community College in South Jeresy. They have a great program.

Yeah no clue in Europe! But as the person above me said..... Salem is a daum fine school!

i'm a apprentice for scientific glassblowing in germany/switzerland...

i think the system over here is a little different.. the normal time for a scientific glasblower to learn is about 3 years... i've never heard of a class or something like that wich takes just days/months....

Salem Rocks!! if you can handle livin in New Jersey I learned so much not just from the school but from the other students. Not to mention the A-list that comes through there. Milon, lucio, emilio all stop by to give cheap lessons. :jump:

ecu in NC i believe has a sci glass program.

and an artistic glass ... there is penland in NC

If you know of any schools that teach glass lets post them and see if we can get a good list up.

if you can get contact numbers addresses web sites if you can... well faq a final product so that people can check out.

also say if its a college program, lessons, work shops etc. no need to post one time events. though. but it would be nice to see programs and places that regulary teach.
