Hey guys, kinda new to this whole thing, and I was looking to see if there were any other artists around my area. I live in michigan and am the only glass worker I know, though I haven't looked around much. So if you are from michigan, know someone from there, or know a better way for me to find others, let me know,
thanks!!
I think there may be a few very serious and sober, high-class gentlemen glass artists in your area.
Hey man, what part of Michigan are you in? Hoss is right, though I am pretty sheltered from other glassblowers in michigan there are defiantly some of us around.

i was about to post the same question but I'm from North Jersey, i have no one to torch with and lean and build upon skills, thinking of moving to cali cause everyone that i get in contact with in this area is either a pipe making pre Madonna, or they see pipes as the devil! hah Any chill peeps that are down to burn?

Right now I hang mostly around saginaw, though I do get down near Detroit weekly. can pretty much go where other people are.

I went to California to work for a wile. I was disapointed by the scean. I did learn a lot of new tricks but it was at a high cost. I would think twice before traveling 2000 miles away for glassblowing.

Hey guys, new to glass blowing as well. I've watched a lot of videos and tutorials for a year already and been running a blog on about glass, water pipes and the artist that I stumble upon. Never met anybody from Florida tho... Anybody around the Miami area?

^ AI, it was nice to meet you up at the shop. Looking forward to blowing some glass with you. The Michigan Glass Project is going to be out of control.
Anybody else out there in Michigan should get at us. We have a decent size shop and collaborate all the time. We are always looking for new people out there to sesh with.
