I am in the market for a nortel hand torch. I am looking at the red max or the multi mix's. Either the 8x8 or the 11x11. I am hoping to get some insight on the flame sizes on these. I am looking for a mirage size flame out of it. I have no experience with a red max so not sure the fire power. I am also inexperienced with the mulit-mix's and there capabilities. Any insight on these models would be highly appreciated.

Red Max Hand Torch all the way!!!!

Better, more focused heat than the Multi-Mix.

What up man yeah those pics are of my 8x8 and I use it for feet flares 90% of the time. I would say its not as hot as my delta but its good if you need it primarily for flares. I'd say the flame is about the size if a mirage, but a totally different flame. I have a buddy who has a 11x11 and he said its too big sometimes...64 ports vs 121.

The RM Hand Torch is about the same size as the Mirage flame.
