Nice. A girl I went to school with (apprently, I didnt know her) did a photography show where she used a large perfectly smooth fishbowl full of water to do something similar... I love lenses and optics.

Lewis Wilson nailed it with the picture of his sculpture with all the clear marbles welded stacked up. If you magnify the image on your screen with Ctrl and '+' you can see a big bushy tree in the background landscape.

thats nuts! taking a macro picture is hard enough, but to get a closeup through a moving drop...wow thats some trigger finger skillz!

what else can we do with optics? i like to do blow-ins and sleeved textured/fumed pieces. i put a few magnifier dots of clear on top of a few spots where there's silver and air trapped in a neat design...adds a whole new cool factor, but its a lil hard to market subtle details...its not as cool if someone tells you rather than owning a piece for a while then catching a magnifier at the right angle and tripping out to something you didn't know was there...anyways yay optics!
