Hello everyone,
I am very interested in taking lampworking up as a hobby, I am under no illusion as to how difficult and time consuming it will be,but i will have plenty of time in 4 months so for the moment i am just learning an awful lot.

Id be more into Boro stuff, the main reason im getting into this is to have another creative form of expression (currently music), and as i like smoking, i figure why not try it. so basic spoons, and i hope to move onto pipes then in time, and if i make some money back out of this from the odd pipe sale how bad.

Based in europe, i know f one small art glass blower about an hour or two away, i plan on visiting them see if they can give me a go on a torch once i get more serious. but there is nothing like your kinda glass blowing communities anywhere near me (the disadvantages of living on an island). so i guess i will just have to stick around here.

anyway, this forum from what ive gathered lurking seems to be the place, so thanks for having me and i look forward to learning alot and hopefully being albe to give back to the community
