Brand: BTC,

Bore: 3.5 inch,

Type: hand wheel, 3 jaw, scroll chuck.

mounted on a Litton HSJ currently
(so will fit any lathe that has the same mounting face as an HSJ)

Question, what is it worth? or is anyone interested in making offers?

Thanks

I have a standing offer to trade a EE planetary chuck on an HSJ mounting adapter for a scroll chuck...

Works perfect. Runs strait as far as I can tell. It is in use daily now.

I have a planetary. Sorry doug can't trade.

I really just need a new scroll chuck with a 4.5 inch bore.

Brandon at victory has one for me and will take this in trade just wanted to see if anyone needs it first and what it might be worth.

Thanks everyone.

Ah it's a machinist (bison style) chuck. Can't really say what it's worth to you and what it's worth to someone else. There are similar used chucks on ebay frequently that are between $300-500. I'm looking for a litton style glass scroll chuck...

Here is a new BTC chuck without a mounting plate or handwheel for $500:

Yours looks to be a similar size (K5?) A used chuck that size is about $200, and the mounting plate and hand wheels are $100-150 each...maybe a bit more if it were me, I would hold out for at least $500, and I'd imagine a motivated buyer would put up maybe $600ish if you find that person?

good luck with it.
