Forum Flame Off

Been churning this idea in my head for a minute. We've done swaps of every kind and attempted collabs-by-mail, but a online forum flame off could be fun as hell. Donation to the forum for a contestant entry fee. Collabs? Individuals? Prizes? Who's down? What do we make? Marbles? Pipes? Dillys? Throw some ideas out there.

seems like a pretty big undertaking, but awesome if it actually happens.

couple ideas:
no collabs due to the last team a/b crappy collab thingy that left a bunch hanging
a deadline for entry and a dealine for pics is a must
poll voting also with a deadline.
as for rules, categories and themes, thats where you (alien) can be creative. its your idea, so make it how you want. maybe leave it completely open or sub categorize into the normal marbles, sculpture, goblets, spoons, multi section pieces etc or incorporate them all into one piece for a mega category
prizes, hmmm....maybe start a thread to get donations?

I was thinking of something like this the other day, but i was thinking more like a challenge series, ex. who can make the best one piece sherlock or who can make the sickest spoon using only clear. or who can make the best bub in 1hr.

I always liked the idea of having a one hour pipe contest like they did last time at champs but everyone has to start with FRESH glass. No prepulled tubing made before hand, maybe just raw clear tube and color rods/frit. Maybe even set up a list of what each person starts and works with. Like allow them 1 piece of 12 mm blowtube, 12" of tube, and whatever color they think they can pile on in an hour.

could have category's: 0-25 mm class (couple blow tubes, 25 mm tube, color rods), 26-38mm class, then 44 plus with maybe a lil more time.

or just do a spoon class, sherlock, bubbler, oil rig(with and/or without GOGS). just some thoughts
