Root Beer Barrels!!

So my lil bro came to visit today, and we've started a weird tradition of doing root beer barrels together when we hang out (no reason except to yell ROOT BEER BARREL!). So today, I decided to make him a special cup, enjoy!:

Root Beer Schnapps in the middle, fresh beer on the outside (preferably Hamm's), tastes like root beer soda, with booze in it.

That sounds like an invitation to a sour stomach and a case of the blatz (with a lowercase B) in the morning, but I really like the cup. Nice work.

"Shoot the Root" is what we called it when I was behind a bar.

Other variations include:

Gummi Bear.......Midori in the middle, Zima (yuck) and a dash of grenadine in the cup. So many variations....

Irish Car Bomb, already mentioned. Recipe for vomiting.

Flaming Dr. Pepper......Amaretto in the shooter, float 151 on it, fill outer with beer, light the float on the shooter.

Good luck, and remember aromatic bitters and soda with lime DOES help a hang-over.

Cool cup! The construction is reminiscent of a citrus juicer design.

Drinkwise, I'd go for your choice of liquor with some sort of citrus juice in the other cup! But that's generally my recommendation anyway.
