O boy.. It's been awhile. About 2 years since I shut it down. :o: Didn't really mean to but family and my day job demanded more attention. :bummed: I've worked my ass off to get to a place where I think I'm ready to dive back in and start spinning again. Reassessed my goals and expectations to something more attainable. The best part is getting back to basics and building up again. Even in the last 2 years I've gleamed a few techs and have new aspect on my old 'problems'.

Anyhow, here's to getting back on the torch! :metalhead

Thanks guys, ya know it's more like therapy or something at this point.. lol going to try to hunt down a tank this weekend then we're on. I was out cleaning and sorting my glass lastnight and you sort of forget your problems for a bit.

I've got a decent case of OCD and insomnia, but I can't tell you what glass does for my OCD, calms everything down, everything seems to be in order while working. Just such an intense focus required it really aligns my thoughts which I need.

Even just cleaning and sorting glass can be effective, like you mentioned. Hell, being in my studio (lol....garage) is even therapeutic, let alone lighting my torch :D

Exactly..

I just need to keep the horse in front of the cart.. I need to rebuild my basic skills and work my way up to where I was. When I do that, I seem to get a better understanding and feel for things. Get those "O that's why.." moments.

What don't need is to spend all day trying to make a headie that will suck if not crack. Never really gaining any experience other then not to do that again.. lol
