Tobacco Pipes

Ive been smoking American Spirit sometimes instead of cigarettes and in a nice sherly have found it to be quite pleasant. I go through stillwater often maybe gonna find a nice spot to chill and smoke my glass (exclusively) tobacco pipe.

I hope to find a way to enjoy my pipe tobacco in the future. Quitting cigarettes was and still is one of the hardest things I have done in the last year. It has really turned me off to smoking in general. The smell is still very desireable, but not so much in confined areas.

I live in mn and visit friends in Wisconsin a lot. Always found it ironic that a town called Stillwater has a river running through it.

I was wondering how many people do this.

By this, I guess I have to specify: smoke tobacco out of glass tobacco pipes. And when you do, do you have to relight it? Or can you just puff away, because a good tobacco pipe generally has a pretty deep bowl that seems to just hug the bowl with enough warmth to puff and rarely light.

so tom, i could use closure on that anecdote. how was the sandwich? will you still have room for dinner? what is pennsylvania's stance on turkey sandwiches? will there be turkey sandwiches at agi this year? are you going to take a public stance in the mayonnaise/miracle-whip controversy? are you afraid of the big sandwich companies coming after the independent sandwich maker?

whatever the case i hope you know you'll have the support of the sandwich community.

I agree with what you're saying in principal, but I'm from Utah. The things that a "jury of my peers" would claim around here would surprise you.

If a law passes, and you break it, it doesn't matter how why or to what end, you broke said law. And that's how the law will see it. There will always be ambiguous gray zones in things, and when thy try to make it black and white like this, that's when things get bad.

All i'm trying to say is that your logic is only gonna work so long and in certain places, at least how things are going.

Yeah, you can smoke out of just about anything, but if a law says that a glass pipe with a bowl hole and carb is illegal, no matter how clean, it is, what it is... :(

You are right about that. Remember Prop 8 in California... :( woops....wrong type of overthrowing... reverse freedom. Some things will always go back and forth.

But when glass pipes can be easily lumped into conversations about meth, its pretty easy to get a community all riled up about it, maybe excluding the west coast, where people seem generally sensible about pipes.
