Turtleglass on here has one hell of a mobile setup. I think the thread is called "endless highway".

It is pretty pimp for sure.

I knew a guy back in the day that had a killer volvo box truck that was divided into half workspace half living space. Even had a dewar on the back bumper.

Amazing. Congrats on taking it to the next level!! I want to do something similar for going to festivals/markets/vacations. Can't wait to see this bad boy finished.

My first shop was in a '71 pop top VW bus. At first I had the fan out the side louvered window, and later switched it to face out the back door. It was actually pretty sweet. I shared it with two other blowers and we alternated times. I wish I had photos.

Looks like fun! I've checked out a few mobile shops recently... Turtle Glass has a bitchin' one (yo), also Bomdiggidy Smokeshop in Houston has a nice trailer they use for demos. I'll rustle up a photo or two.

Converting a bus is my goal for the summer... my lady went off to Minnesota and I can't follow without a major move, so it seems the most viable option. Should be a pretty fun build too :)

Here's a mobile setup I did a few years ago...

Cool set up Pogo do you still have that rig?

Yeah, It's still rockin, Got it properly wired and shizz since that thread.
Also, Found out a Jenken Chilipepper fit on the bench nicely.
Pulled computer surround; upgraded to a LOUD Stereo PA setup with a laptop as the "receiver" and large external full-range speaker cabinets.

Don't use it but once in a while, but having it around has proved to be very beneficial. :D

edit: As for "properly wired", I meant I added switches to turn the fan on and off as opposed to the old way where the fan and light came on when the trailer was plugged in. re-reading my post I felt like it may have sounded like I ran it previously in an unsafely wired manner, which is incorrect. now back to your regularly scheduled programming....

fired the shop up for the first time. ran my 5250w generator on the boat with 2 cords running 40 feet to the beach to the trailer made a pipe and 4 mustache roach clips and called er a day got the kiln up to temp and soaked for 5 mins crashed it. killed everything and had a safety break. what a sight funny time that was.
