Going to be up that way after the DFO. Any cool shops or spots i should check out between Eugene and Hood River?

Only shops worth mentioning from Eugene to hood river are in Portland off Hawthorne in SE. Mellow moods and peace of mind. Third eye is lame but it's kinda history. Jack herer started it and now his son owns it. All three are by each other. I think there is a sweet shop in Beaverton that's kinda new, forgot the name.

You could get a tour from the franz bread factory! Kinda cool. You could check out bulls eye glass factory and gallery, glass alchemy or northstar. check out Kevin and Jason's shop off Alberta. Bridging Boro.

Hood river is kinda off the charts for glass stuff. But on the way therebe sure to check out multnomah falls and hike to the bridge. One of the biggest and tallest waterfalls on the west coast. Bout 45 mins before hood river. Cant miss it. You should drive the Senic route if you have a min. One of the first Hiways in The northwest. It's pretty tight.
Hood river is the birth place for windsurfIng. You'll see about 100 surfing on a good day. They have the full sail brewery there too. Good beer. And lost lake is about 35 mins from hood river good camping.

Hey blake thanks for the info! I def will have to check out the glass shops you mentioned. Im making a couple deliveries going to the DFO and doing some soul searching in hood river while up there. I am an ex pro windsurfer so thats my reason for returning to HR i havent been up there in 10+ years and have hopes of feeling the same anout the place as i use to and possibly find a nifty little piece of property for a possible summer get away/ summer glass shop. It will be an adventure to say the least. If everything goes well this trip i might go back and spend a month up there this year.

Pipes Palace that's the only shop around. I think there a dispensery there too. Hood river is great. There is other glass blowers thee I hear but there off the grid as far as I know. If you want I can show you around hood river a little bit I live about 20 min east there is some good bars and restaraunts around.

when u leaving vertigo?? me and my bro in law will be driving up to reno wed. then thursday going the rest of the way to oregon.. we decided to go up the 395 since the 5 was sooooo boring last time..
