this is all new to me. just got my first shipment of dichro scraps off ebay and was playing with them a little bit... this stuff doesn't stretch far at all... don't know what it is.. was old JBD stock from what the paper that came with it said...

basically all the techniques in here are poorly done however this is the first one that kinda came out.

i just wanted to start getting pictures for some sort of personal progression portfolio or something.

thanks to everyone who helped out with push, shove, scrap, direction, and critisim.
wonka, stepping, ggb, gotglass, rob, hass and maybe you.

always lurking

I love how the dihro stretches and breaks up into those little sparkles. I have never thought to use dichro in a spiral like that. Thats a really neat effect.

I don't know if DA sells scraps or not, but you can get small chunks of it from Trev's(sunray) I believe.

most of the ebay "scrap dichro" is universal......it is a bitch to work with and doesn't break up very well.....but that looks pretty decent for that dichro, and a first time, no less.
but yeh, if you can get decent results out of universal, get some dichroic alchemy, you'll bloody love it.
