It seems with all the wildfires out west and the thunderstorms bursts that have blackouted many along the south eastern seabord out to ohio that I'm sure a few in our glassblowing community must be locally affected.

we've just had crazy heat. it's been over 100 for over a week, and at least a week more coming. it wasn't so bad when we were suffering from a drought. the rain the last few days has brought the humidity back into the equation, and it's straight swamp ass out there

^^ Send some my way(N.GA.) The clouds either evaporate, dodge, or split when it gets to my little place. My 'maters look pitiful and my squash are hopeless. Nothing in comparison to what others are experiencing I know, but still frustrating.

Look at it this way . . . December is near and the world is gonna end anyway.

I took on a large order of plenums at the beginning of the summer. It is now constantly 95+ degrees out and I am working 8" tubing with multiple ring seals. Ive got 4 CCs, hand torch, and wilt oven going in my little lathe room. Its got to be 110+ in there all day. Its rough....hot....and humid. -Slow roasting in Ohio

I don't mind the heat but man the Mosquitos have hit in waves. I guess I should expect it this time of year but two weeks ago there wasn't a one now the air is thick with them. Patching screens sweating and swatting. I would pay big bucks for someone to invent a mosquito repellent that works.

intrepid...... i'm sure it's the same in Ohio today. hottest day yet here. 104, heat index over 115. no relief in sight until Monday. awful.
