When forming over an object like a marble or sculpture, how do you connect the cathode to the object. Beads look easy as they have a hole and can be suspended by the wire. What do you do with a marble or heavy paperweight? -zac

You could use pressure technique... Just force electrode against object as it sits at bottom of beaker... You may want to change positions as "form" develops so electrode does not become permanent part of object and you get a more even "form"...

You could also create a "basket" from electrode material, again you would need to move "form" often so it does not become part of art...
