what the best temp for yer kiln if yer doin a repair? does it differ if yer have clear glass or with color? thank for any advice...

what do you mean exactly, are you talking about heating a cracked piece up and then you are going to take it out and use your torch to fix it? if so, 1075 is not a bad number to take it up to.

right- to repair a piece...not the kiln...
If it's just a simple repair, like a small crack, you can just leave it in the kiln and hit it with a hand torch.

Yup! I leave mine at my 980 holding temp but if you are nervous bump it up to 1100 for repairs

right- to repair a piece...not the kiln...
of course, but there are a few of ways to do this and a few types of damage. the more specific you are with what you are needing help with the more helpful the answers can be.

not for anything specific, jus general cracks or broken pieces...
