Great shots! The bird (osprey?) with the fish is fantastic. The turkey vulture is pretty sweet too. The lighting in the last landscape shot is perfect.

Looks like a fun vacation indeed.

We left southern California on June 18th. Met a friend in Albuquerque on June 20th. The next date is July 1st in Maine for 2 week tent camping. Between June 20 and July 1 - we stayed where the car took us as we traveled across the US staying at motel Wal Mart sleeping in the Scion where I built a bed. Occasionally we'd stop at a TA and shower or a campground. After 2 weeks at the beach campground, we went to Michigan to meet a friend, then to Wisconsin to meet a friend and shoot Civil War reenactment pictures. Then off to West Virginia and Ohio for 2 more friends to meet and finally to Arkansas for the 1st marble show in a long time there on Aug 4th.

My wife and I usually take 8 week trips during her school's vacation. In 2013, we plan on staying one week at 7 different camp sites in Washington and Oregon. I LOVE being retired!!!!!

Great pics. Where'd you see the gorilla? And that wheat field is stunning reminds me of wild mustard fields I've seen in Kentucky.

Gorilla was at the Kansas City zoo. The cut wheat field in Cobly, Kansas and I did not do any adjusting whatsoever on it - it is exactly what I saw through the lens!
