Just thought I'd share this, a little reluctant to fire it up, any body ever seen one? I need to find a base, but you can pretty much spin the torch to use whatever tip

I appreciate all the help I've gotten on this forum by the way

If you do fire it up make sure you turn the oxy off before you spin it around to change the tip.
Also i would only put propane through to start with to find any leaks. you should also be able to take of the tips quite easy and give them a clean.
I take it you have flashback arrestors?

they used to be quite common in europe.

Alain V....... cant remember the proper spelling. Anyway, he used to post here pretty often. He uses a torch like that, in France, I believe. He talked about his torch in one of his.threads, if I wasnt using my phone to post I would link the thread. He is producing beautiful work with a similiar torch though, there are photos of him raging too!

Yup, I remember that dude postin vids. Im pretty sure it is all premixed and he was able to do some really nice even blown work with it. I think you will find that best used in applications when reduction doesn't really matter and you want to build a nice even heat base. Having a large premix flame certainly has it's time and place.

Flame wise I would think it is pretty similar to a national (obviously with quickly adjustable flame size) but i only say this from watching the videos as I have never used one.

Good Score, congrats!
