Great video, thanks sling! I just hope I'm half as cool as Mickelsen when I get his age, cus I know my skills won't be.

Wow. Thank you all for the kind words. This came as a complete surprise to me. The interview was done during the BIG Industry show last March. I participated as part of the new "Galleria" section for glass pipes in that show. If I had known this interview would be so widely seen I would have been more careful about my answers. My inbox is busting with inquiries about glass guns. Speaking of which, have you seen my latest?

I`m jut amazed by the size of that thing and the overall complexity of the assembly work involved. As a novice I`m am perplexed at how someone can accomplish the assembly of a piece so large.Especially with the odd shapes involved. Ram you are obviously a very accomplished glassworker and I was stoked to see that on such a mainstream site. Beautiful work!

I need a gun to keep myself from harm

I never use this so frequently thrown around that the meaning has been lost term, but that's epic.

Very cool Mr. Mickelson. I'm glad you were able to shed some light on our art form. The beauty and quality craftsmanship of these works is undeniable. In fact, your guns are commonly something that I show pictures of to non-smokers that ask about glass. Their responses are always very positive and appreciative of the fine detail and effort put into such a creation. They're even more shocked when I inform them that they're functional :D

Keep on keepin on you're truly an inspiration.
