nor cal liquid oxy?

just moved shop out to cal, i need a supplier for oxy. we use a 240L tank every 2-3 weeks....any help on direction to take??? oh shasta weld said with delivery fee its @ 500.00 i just think thaat is too high...

Assuming your in the Redding area, Airgas is an option..... Make sure you talk to their regional sales rep and negotiate with them.... The guys at the store will most likely quote you a very high price. When I was in the area we paid around $180 for a 160L tank...... I believe Praxair also has a store up there, same as air gas, talk to their sales rep not the dicks at the storefront. Welcome to Norcal!

I use praxair here in san jose. Excellent service and pricing on tank swaps. I know they do liquid but dont have a price for you. Where are you located?

Praxair is the only company that's never tried to rip me off. For fill, rental and delivery I pay about $330 a month.

Airgas used to have a branch in Red Bluff on East ave. I asked today when I picked up tanks and was quoted $275 on a 240L dewar, not sure if that include delivery.

Damn, I'm in Woodland, CA, near Sacramento and I pay way less. I get a 265L (pretty sure they only fill 240L) delivered for $180 plus $30/month rental.

Definitely shop around, I was getting close to this price from Airgas and then switched to a local company called Trico for the better customer service and quicker deliveries.

Holy balls that's high. I pay $15. When I was on liquid it was $135 for the smaller one... 180L I believe.

I remember seeing that XL 350 at your Portland shop, never seen one before... thing holds a massive amount.

it depends where you are. it costs me about 300 a tank for liquid. people further out pay even more.

i'm in the 707 but not really norcal. $160 for 240L, $30 delivery, $60/month tank rental from the local outfit in napa.

wow im killin it...86. for a 160...and tiny bit over 30. rental and about 35. delivery...i guess you got to negotiate, and when that fails a little whining never hurts...my rental price has gottin raised twice so far in year- 1.18 day...they screw ya where they can...ktanks for 15. but those go so fast...

It is truly an art to negotiate. I called back and talked to different guys. never gave my account. Just a location vague and general there too. And now im moving next month so i need to start all over again.
