!Help! GTT Question

so this is pretty wierd...and annoying seemed to happen overnight, so my gtt is getting oxygen through the outer fire without the valves being open:bummed:

dunno what would cause this...it ive only had the torch for maybe 1.5 yrs came brand new from gtt. It is a two stage torch with 4 studs. While i was lighting my torch yesterday i noticed it soon as i tried to set my outer fire for my footpedal. I hadnt turned on any valves in the outer fire yet and i turned on my propane to have my torch running as though all the valves were open...i was like wtf wierd. so i turned off all the valves to closed...stepped on my foot pedal, and oxygen was coming out of the second fire rings without any valves open:bangHead:, the second fire i have little to no control over the flame characterisitcs the green valve is nearly unresponsive...wtf anyone else have a similar problem...im gonna call wally on monday...but it is really bugging me that my baby is not working correctly and im kinda lookin for answers before monday...this is my everday working torch so im kinda screwed at this point for the rest of the weekend....:depressed

sounds like a bad seal in the manifold of the torch.

First guess would be a bad valve seal/seat. (no response to valve adjustment)

I'm sure you already know this, but just to make sure:

Needle valves should should be closed GENTLY, very gently.
Very light finger pressure, even heavy finger pressure can damage the valves.

It is common for people to crank the valves closed and cause damage.
