Captain Glass

I have used the search function and read a couple different threads about what i think the answer is i just want to make sure i understood everything correctly before i go ahead and start cutting things i shouldnt have.
I have a brand new Lynx and it has the little fittings on the end of the hoses.
i also bought brand new 25 foot hoses from mountain glass and they have what i believe are called "b" fittings on both ends of the hoses. i have 2 hose clamps also purchased from mountain glass as well.
Now if i understood the answers in the threads i read earlier i am supposed to cut off one end of the "b" fittings on the hose purchased from mountain glass and then fit those over the end of the fittings on my lynx and after that clamp them down with my handy dandy hose clamps ?
42790
so im going to cut where my right about where my thumb is and slide the newly cut ends of the hose onto the lynx fittings and clamp down with the hose clamps CORRECT ???
Like i said i read the threads earlier, but reading and making sure you understand what you read are two totally different things.
Thank You.
