oxygen/propane tanks

Hey guys. I'm working on setup and want to know. What size tanks should I get if I spend 3-6 hours a day on the Torch. Sorry to ask just want to get it right.

get 251's or what they call a K Tank.
At Oxarc they are called OLO's


You seem to be eager to learn so read this site and get some books.

Awww how sweet :). Sorry I am trying to buy everything on Craigslist so you run into alot of people with personal oxygen tanks. I did buy contemporary lampworking from a goodwill in Cali for 21$ should be Here Tuesday :) I'm stoked!

You're gonna want to make sure that wherever you're planning on getting your refills from will take privately owned tanks. Some places will only fill their own. But if you're gettin a home-fill, then no worries.

You probably will want to just rent a K or T tank, which are roughly 250 and 300 cubic feet respectively. The only time it seems like it would make sense to own a gas tank is if you had a homefill system which costs more than you will want to pay if you have any sort of starting up budget.
